In June of 2011, Steve Hanson, Natasha Hanson, Louisa Rempala and Shane Rempala founded Creative Voyagers, an author-owned publishing house specializing in books for children.
Natasha and Louisa are sisters that grew up sharing a room and their dreams on an organic farm near Timaru, New Zealand. Louisa eventually married her high school sweetheart, Shane, who was also from Timaru. After marriage, they moved to Wellington, New Zealand.
Steve is from Fargo, North Dakota, and married Natasha after spending a year in New Zealand writing. Shortly after that, the Creative Voyagers were born and decided to do something about their passion for imagination. They realized that between the four of them, they had every skill necessary to make books -- except the ability to spell -- but that's what friends are for.
The Creative Voyagers' unofficial motto is "the more fantastic the dream, the better". They want to make the world a better, happier place through literature.
This international collection of creativity currently has offices in America and New Zealand. Please contact info@CreativeVoyagers.com for more information.
